Have explained internet connectivity via the mobile phone since 2004 to customers. The key to internet on mobile is getting the right settings. Today however the issue is smaller, since we have smarter operating systems like IOS/ Android/ Windows, etc. Today most of the Mobile Service Providers have advance Device Manager Servers embedded in the network intelligence. There is however, a lack between the introduction of new devices OS and updation of the same at the device manager side.
INTERNET today is important to all, whether you seek information/ entertainment.
Would like to explain the settings of internet in a mobile phone.
You have a data account which defines the APN (Access Point Name)
Example:
Airtel - airtelgprs.com
Vodafone - www
Only the APN is needed when you have opted for the complete internet services option from the mobile phone. No specific URL/ IP adress or Port number is needed.
