A friend told me to start my own website... I have been wanting to do the same for a while. Have a vision of getting people to use gadgets the way I would like to. To me fiction drives innovation... all innovations are driven by fiction. I tried building my website using WIX.com a flash based brilliant online tool. Anyone wanting to quick put up a nice flashy invitation/ poster/ etc. www.wix.com is your answer.
Just never had enough time to put up the website. I am a cancerian, we thrive for perfection as a race.

Sharing this article to explain, how we can use today's technology... I remember the earlier days of computing, where a computer would boot up into the OS from a floppy disk... Today the computing power we carry in our little smart phones is amazing...
TECHNOLOGY and its use - Example 1
Most of you technical support buffs would have done this already. Just thought I would like to document this... Nov'2012.
My son had his birthday celebration on 10th November'12. I recently shifted to Delhi from Kolkata. Had designed a card using powerpoint in my home computer in Kolkata. on 7th November'12, some last minutes changes were recommended by my wife, who was in Kolkata. I would have loved to do the same on my laptop and send it to her. But as luck would have it, my laptop did not have the PPT or the images used in the card. These properties were in my home desktop.
I was on my way back from Gurgaon to Delhi. Would have come home by 9.30p, making it quite late. My wife wanted the editing to be done that night. She was requesting me to make the changes for almost two weeks.
TEAMVIEWER - The application which rescued me at this difficult situation.
Entered the metro in MG Road, was speaking to my wife on the telephone. Requested her to start the computer and run TEAMVIEWER. Connected to the desktop from my phone while i was in the train. guided my wife to open the required file. Made all the necessary changes while speaking to her over the telephone.
When my wife managed to get the changed birthday card, I posted the same in FaceBook telling my friends... this is truely what technology can do for you today...
Mobile phone applications have definitely and most probably surpassed the number of applications available for the computer.
